Anyway, I went to Miam Miam at Bugis Junction for lunch yesterday. It's a French-Japanese restaurant.
I ordered a Berries Soda and Arrabiata Pasta. Turned out both were sour. The pasta was huge, but I guessed the sour taste actually gave me more appetite. I finished the whole plate on my own! Quite tasty I would say. The drink was too sour for my liking. The strawberries and blueberries in the drink were sour too.
Elaine ordered a Curry baked rice which smelled so good! I didn't try it though. The egg was so nicely done!
We sat in the restaurant and chatted for a long while. It would be nice if they had offered us water. Would have scored extra points. Nevertheless, I wouldn't mind going back to try other food another day too.
After that, we walked around to shop for her notebook. We saw something nice and I bought one.
A pink soft toy horse that I want to sew for Rachael! It looks really cute and I hope I will have the time and energy to do this for my little girl. There are many other animals, but I guess I will just start with one and see how it goes. I'm not a very home econs person. Hopefully it will turn out as nice as it should be.
After a while, I felt tired and went home leaving Elaine to go Bras Basah to continue her search for a notebook.
I thought I could take a nap when I was home, but I ended up playing with Chloe who was down with fever. Here's with the Lego castle that she built following the picture on the box.
It was a really tiring day. I didn't get to nap at all. After dinner, I packed the room with hubby till 11plus. We both went to bed tired.
This morning, I totally concussed. Didn't hear his alarm rang and didn't notice the lights were on. I only woke up when hubby was about to leave for work. And I continued sleeping till 9plus then woke up for breakfast. Exhausted!
Right now, I'm waiting for the cot to arrive. Kinda excited. Will post picture of it when it's here. Gonna rest a while while waiting for the delivery.
